About our Restaurant
Open since May 1986, our goal is to bring the finest home-styled cooking of Central Thailand (the birthplace of Royal Thai cuisine) to San Francisco. What sets Marnee Thai apart from hundreds of Thai restaurants in San Francisco is the quality of our food, the details, and the love that we put in our cooking. The work we put into our dishes has received us rave reviews from various media as well as other prestigious awards. Some of these awards include being voted among the Zagat Survey’s top-rated Thai restaurants in the city for over 15 years, and also being rated rated 9.9 out of 10 in the Thai food specialty
feature of "Best of City Search 2005".
At Marnee Thai, we offer many ancient traditional dishes that are rarely found in other Thai restaurants such as healthy dishes like Banana Blossom Salad, Miang Kum, Hor Mok (steamed fish fillet in curry mousse) and many other special menus
that we frequently change according to the availability of seasonal ingredients. Although the majority of our menu is of
Central Thai cuisine, we also include some dishes from three other types of regional cuisines as well.
